History
March 2007: Here I am, send me!!!

I am so privilege this upcoming summer of 2007 to be able to travel back to the Former Soviet Union, where I was born, and serve others for three weeks.
My nursing and Bible studies at Northwest Nazarene University will be over May 1st, and I am planning to begin my work in Ukraine May 7th.  This is the time when I will be meeting with pastor and Director of the children shelter in Akimovka Oleg Faitelson.  I will be working in this children shelter for  several days, helping deliver food and clothing to  the poor and homeless in their community as well as be productive in leading Bible camp for children in the center.
Hands of Hope for Humanity in currently making arrangement to select a team of commitment individuals to form the native missionary team, with whom I can work during the period of three weeks stay in Former Soviet Union.
Work that we are planning to accomplish with your support and the help of this native missionary team will include:  delivery and distribution of clothing and food to the poor region of Ukraine and Ural areas, medical assistant to local village hospitals,  and five days youth camps with Bible study programs, arts and crafts classes, and sport activities for the orphans in both Ukraine and Russia.
After completing our projects in Ukraine, we are planning to take a train to Ural area and continuing ministries to the areas we have been supporting throughout the five years.  These including living and working in the orphanage in Fokee, visiting and supporting youth shelter in Stepanovo, delivering medical supplies to the town hospital in Chaykovskiy.
My time overseas is limited from May 7-28th, in which I hope to be productive in both Russia and Ukraine.

Similar to Isaiah in the Bible, I have been praying and am confident to say, “Here I am, send me!”  I pray to be used by God this summer as well as every day of my life.
I believe that I have found my little place in this large world and that place is “encouraging and touching the hearts of people who are desperately in need of hope, love, and compassion.”  Please partner with me in this mission to be a disciple of Christ .
